Midori web browser on Ubuntu

Midori is a fast, lightweight and free web browser, that's the tag line of this relatively new web browser. So i'm curious about midori, i want to try it out and see if it's really true.

It' seems the 'lightweight' part was true, when i install midori on ubuntu 14.04 and 16.04, the package size is very small, only a few kilobytes.

How to install midori on ubuntu:
sudo apt-get install midori
Just like most modern web browser today, midori also comes with private browsing feature. Browsing with midori is quite nice, i like the loading bar is inside the address bar, excellent user interface.

But despite all that, midori did crash one time on my ubuntu, i'm not using the latest one, i have midori version 0.4.3, the new one is 0.5.11 by the time i wrote this. The newest one probably more stable.

To install the latest version of midori, use this command instead:

First you need to uninstall the old one and then run this command:
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:midori/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install midori
