How to install Krita 3.1.3 released on Ubuntu 16.04 & Higher

   Krita 3.1.3 is mainly a bug fix release with some new features. Every user is strongly recommended to update.

  •     Fix a warning when the installation is incomplete that still mentioned Calligra
  •     Make dragging the guides with a tablet work correctly
  •     Pressing and releasing a modifier key now updates the cursor instantly

Installation instructions:

   
Add the PPA to your system, update the local repository index and install the Firefox package:

$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kritalime/ppa

$ sudo apt-get update

$ sudo apt-get install krita
    Optional, to remove Firefox, do:

 $ sudo apt-get install ppa-purge && sudo ppa-purge ppa:kritalime/ppa
