How to install Resetter 1.0.0 on Ubuntu 16.04, 17.04

   Resetter is an application built with python and pyqt that will help to reset an Ubuntu, Linux-Mint, and some other distros to stock, without having to manually re-install by using a live usb/cd/dvd image.


How does it work?
  •     Typical case of auto apps reset
    installed programs list - updated manifest = non-default programs
    updated manifest - installed programs list = MPIAs

    reset = (Installed programs list - non-default programs) + MPIAs
    There are other reset features, see features list.

  •     Linux Mint 18.1
  •     Linux Mint 18
  •     Linux Mint 17.3
  •     Ubuntu 17.04
  •     Ubuntu 16.10
  •     Ubuntu 16.04
  •     Ubuntu 14.04

  •     Debian jessie ~ delayed but will come via resetter-cli
  •     Linux Deepin 15.4

Installation instructions: 

Open terminal and insert command line...

$ sudo apt-get install gdebi

$ wget -c https://github.com/gaining/Resetter/releases/download/v1.0.0-stable/resetter_1.0.0-stable_all.deb

$ sudo gdebi resetter_1.0.0-stable_all.deb
