Install HP Print Drivers HPLIP 3.17.10 Adds New Printers on Ubuntu

    HPLIP is a free, open-source HP-developed solution for printing, scanning, and faxing with HP inkjet and laser based printers in Linux.


Drivers HPLIP 3.17.10 Changelog: 
Added Support for the Following New Scanners:
  • HP Scanjet Enterprise Flow N9120 fn2 Document Scanner
  • HP Digital Sender Flow 8500 fn2 Document Capture Workstation
Added support for the following new Distro's:
  • Debian 9.1

Installation instructions:
 
1. Download the installer (hplip-3.17.10.run) from the link below:


https://sourceforge.net/projects/hplip/files/hplip/3.17.10/

2. Open terminal (Ctrl+Alt+T) and run:



$ cd ~/Downloads/

$ chmod +x hplip-3.17.10.run

$ ./hplip-3.17.10.run

3. Restart your computer or re-plug your printer
