Install HP Print Drivers HPLIP 3.17.11 Adds Ubuntu 17.10 Support

   HPLIP is a free, open-source HP-developed solution for printing, scanning, and faxing with HP inkjet and laser based printers in Linux.


Drivers HPLIP 3.17.11 Changelog: 
Added Support for the following new Distros:
  • Ubuntu 17.10 (64bit)
Other Requirement:
  • Class Driver support

Installation instructions:
 
1. Download the installer (hplip-3.17.11.run) from the link below:

https://sourceforge.net/projects/hplip/files/hplip/3.17.11/

2. Open terminal (Ctrl+Alt+T) and run:


$ cd ~/Downloads/

$ chmod +x hplip-3.17.11.run

$ ./hplip-3.17.11.run

3. Restart your computer or re-plug your printer
