How to install Ukuu – Simple Tool to Install the Latest Kernels on Ubuntu

   Ukuu utility is a graphical program for notification of release of the new Linux kernel with automatic installer in graphical form, without the need to download separate .deb packages of the kernel.


Ukuu features:
  •     Fetches list of kernels from kernel.ubuntu.com
  •     Displays notifications when a new kernel update is available.
  •     Downloads and installs packages automatically

Installation instructions:

     The latest Ukuu versions are available via some third party PPA, so installing the software on Ubuntu is piece of cake. Just add the PPA to your system, update the local repository index and install the blender package:

$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:teejee2008/ppa

$ sudo apt-get update

$ sudo apt-get install ukuu
Optional, to remove Blender , do:

$ sudo apt-get remove ukuu
