How to install oStorybook 5.00.02 on Ubuntu 16.04, 16.10

    Storybook is an open source software for writers, essayists, authors. Used from the draft to the final work, with oStorybook you can never lose the history of the field of view. oStorybook helps you to maintain control over the various developments of your story.


Except for the usual schedule, version 5.00.02 is available. The version of December 2016 presented some serious anomalies which justified this publication of urgency.

Besides the correction of the anomalies, you will find the usual procession of new functions:
  •  addition of a module for internationalization assistance
  •  correction of dictionary download anomaly
  •  resolution of bug # 42 (direct addition of character, place, object)
  •  correction of the number of words calculation
  •  add a warning message if the export already exists
  •  add an end message for all exports
  •  memorisation of the position and size of the editor (by component type)
  •  add Memos in the tree view
  •  replacement of the LibreOffice editor by a commonplace editor
  •  reintroduction of the geolocation of a location from the address
  •  customizing the toolbar
  •  adding the number of scenes in the chapters for the table, the editor and the quick info view
  •  add "image" navigation when exporting HTML multifiles
  •  Fixed bug in Reading view
  •  modification of the presentation of the Memos table and option to change layout
  •  correction of the first launch anomaly
  •  reactivation of the fast output of the editor
