Installation instructions:
In order to successfully install digiKam on Ubuntu, you have to add the PPA to your system, update the local repository index and install the digiKam package:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:philip5/extra $ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install digikam5 |
Optional, to remove digiKam, do:
$ sudo apt-get remove digikam5 $ sudo apt-get autoremove |
